Udzungwa Forest Lodge is the first luxury lodge catering for visitors to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Southern Tanzania.
There are currently 3 luxury tented units each with double or twin occupancy, spring mattresses and en-suite facilities. Each tent has its own private veranda where you can relax and enjoy the view. Each unit is well situated with a view of the forest or out over the Kilombero Valley.
There are three double units made out of traditional materials with excellent thermal values. Each has a double bed, mosquito net and writing desk. There is a superb shower and toilet block that serves these facilities.
There is an atmospheric bar built of local materials and our chefs provide a tasty range of dishes. We provide full English breakfasts and superb packed lunches for clients venturing into the park. By special request spit roast pigs, goats and sheep may be arranged for larger groups.
In addition we provide help organising a variety of excursions in to the nearby park and surrounding countryside.
